Bécquer





Gustavo Adolfo Claudio Domínguez Bastida better known as Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, was a Spanish poet and narrator, belonging to the Romantic movement.
His most famous work is the Rhymes and Legends. The poems and stories included in this collection are essential for the study of Hispanic literature, in which they have exercised great influence.

The Chernobyl accident was a nuclear accident at the Vladimir Ilyich Lenin nuclear power plant (3 km from the city of Pripyat, present-day Ukraine) on Saturday, April 26, 1986. The origin of roses

In mythology several myths about the creation of roses are credited, one of them is that the goddess Aphrodite, while born of the foam of the sea, would have wanted to create something as beautiful as her. From her bosom came a white rose that she would use from that moment as an ornament,  one day Dionysus approached her and poured a few drops of her wine into the rose, and since then she acquired her characteristic rosy hue.

It's not a gloomy or morbid occasion, rather it is a festive and colorful holiday celebrating the lives of those who have passed on. Mexicans visit cemeteries, decorate the graves and spend time there, in the presence of their deceased friends and family members.
