Charles Milles Manson was a famous American criminal and musician, known for directing what is known as "The Manson Family" a group of followers of Manson. In 1971, he was convicted of conspiracy to murder seven people: all carried out by group members, who followed Manson's instructions. His followers kill different people at other times.
Manson believed in what he called the same "Helter Skelter", a term borrowed from the song Helter Skelter by the band The Beatles. Manson interpreted that the song speaks of a hypothetical racial war between blacks and targets that, according to him, approached. The title of the song written with blood on the scene of one of the crimes ordered by Manson. He believed that the murders could help precipitate this racial war. In the United States, Charles Manson has been mythologized as an emblem of madness, violence and the macabre.
Before the murders, he was an underground musician in Los Angeles, after Manson was accused of the crimes he was later convicted of, recordings of songs written and performed by him came to light. Several musicians have been inspired by Manson to compose and make versions of songs of their songs, among them Guns N 'Roses, White Zombie, Devendra Banhart, System of a Down, Scars on Broadway and Marilyn Manson. today thirteen days ago he died.

The Woodstock Festival was a rock and hippy festival held on the 15th, 16th, 17th and until the early hours of August 18, 1969.
