The Wall

The Berlin Wall was a security wall that formed part of the inter-German border from August 13, 1961 to November 9, 1989. It is the best-known symbol of the Cold War and the division of Germany.

It was a 45-kilometer wall dividing the city of Berlin in two, while another 115 kilometers surrounded its western part isolating it from the GDR. That is to say, the Wall constituted the state border between the GDR and the enclave of West Berlin. It was one of the best-known symbols of the Cold War and the separation of Germany.

The exact number of people who died trying to cross the border through the wall is unknown. It is said that the balance was more than 200 people, including 33 who died as a result of the detonation of mines.

The Berlin Wall fell on the night of Thursday 9 to Friday 10 November 1989, 28 years after its construction.

Charles Milles Manson was a famous American criminal and musician, known for directing what is known as "The Manson Family" a group of followers of Manson. In 1971, he was convicted of conspiracy to murder seven people: all carried out by group members, who followed Manson's instructions. His followers kill different people at other times. Manson believed in what he called the same "Helter Skelter", a term borrowed from the song Helter Skelter by the band The Beatles. Manson interpreted that the song speaks of a hypothetical racial war between blacks and targets that, according to him, approached. Woodstock

The Woodstock Festival was a rock and hippy festival held on the 15th, 16th, 17th and until the early hours of August 18, 1969. It took place on a 240-acre farm in Bethel, Sullivan County, New York State. ; although originally it was programmed so that it took place in the town of Woodstock, in the county of Ulster, where the settlers, nevertheless, were against the event. Writer Elliot Tiber helped negotiate the organizers with farmer Max Yasgur, to host the concert on the grounds of that family, 64 km southwest of Woodstock.
